*opens his eye yawning looking up then got up with his hand on his M1911

Marcus: what do you want general and you privates Shut the hell up or your "privates" will be gone got it

*he watched Alena walk out then stood wearing no shirt as his NCR Sharpshooter Tattoo on his bicep

*Alena walks into the women's tent and slumps onto her cot, burying her face into her hands as her friend Bethany sits beside her, comforting Alena from crying of embarrassment.*

Alena: I am so stupid. I do it every time. I just get so nervous at parties I just drink it out.

*Bethany smiles a bit softly saying, "Alena, do you realize how wonderful Marcus is as a friend? At least he doesn't shove you off when you get out of hand or leave to stumble on your own."

*Alena starts to tear but wipes it away carefully, agreeing to Bethany trying to calm her down, "You're right. But I just need to stop drinking so much. I am better than that."

*Bethany chuckles, "I love you just the way you are. Mind the embarrassment, that's what makes you unique. Your wild self. If no one likes it, then fuck them."

*Alena laughs as she gets up to undress, "Bethany, you are such a great friend. I am glad I met you."

*Bethany smiles, "Always. Now I have some trainees to train, see you later."

*Alena continues to get into her uniform, walking out of the tent to the General's office in scarce of the outcome.*

*Cocks the hammer on his gun

Marcus: General please tell me what this is about now or ill leave

*he stood there waiting for a response

*Alena opens the door, seeing Marcus with his gun out slightly then jumps next to him.*

Alena: Marcus! Put it away for gods sake. I'm sorry General.

*The general puts his hands up in a calm manner of accepting the apology.*

General Howe: Now Alena. This has been the fourth time I have caught you two in the same tent after dark.

*Alena shakes her head in disappointment, "General, we aren't four years old, why do we need that specific rule?"

*The general cocked his head a bit, "Excuse me but it is inappropriate to have any sort of relationship inside the NCR reserve. Especially sexual."

*Alena puts her hands on her hips, "Marcus and I never did anything! We are just friends!"

General Howe: Alena, I have had enough of this nonsense!

Alena: Oh really? Well so have I. *She tears off her badges from her shirt and bulk pants.* "I am leaving the force."

*Alena opens the door and slams it behind her without hesitation as walked back to the women's tent to gather her things.*

*smirked looking at her lovingly as she slammed the door.*

Marcus: Sir. I have been in this army for 12 years and I think its time that I quit as well. So fuck you and your fucking rules, Howe. I'm done.

*he grabs his duffle bag and his rifle, spitting in the general's direction as he trails behind Alena*

*The dark figure stood nearby, a closer look would reveal strange mantle with shoulder plates that had miniature blades sticking into the air.*


Bekilip: This could get interesting...


*He whispered to himself as he watched what he could of the conflict.*

*Alena began to throw her stuff into a big duffle bag, ripping the pictures off the wall. Grunting in anger she stomps out of her tent towards the vehicle station lot.*

Alena: I am sick of this shit!

*She screams in anger, fumbling for her keys.*

*walks out of the tent looking for Alena peeking into her tent then hears her scream of anger running to her

Marcus: ALENA *he grabs her shoulder* Im coming with you

*Turns swiftly then gasps in shock.*

Alena: Marcus!? What the- What are you doing!?

Marcus: I'm coming with you because i cant let you go by yourself

*he looks back placing his duffel bag on the ground

*Looks at her keys, her Jeep key sitting in the clutch of her fingers and sighs. As she walked towards her Jeep slowly she says.*

Alena: Why? I am fine on my own.

*Turns her head at Marcus in a sly motion.*

Marcus: if i let you go on your own ill be left wondering what happened to you

*looks at her picking up her hand

Marcus: im coming no matter what

*Continues walking to jeep getting into the drivers seat as she thinks then turns to Marcus whom still stands behind Jeep.*

Alena: Fine. Get in.

*She starts the engine as a few of the privates watch Alena and Marcus leave the grounds.*

*smiles at her putting his stuff in the back jumping in beside her

Marcus: do you know where your going?

*Driving through the canyon, heading out towards the open desert lands. She doesn't answer Marcus' question with an angered look, the inability to speak in such a nice tone. The sand whipped under the tires, speedily going through random unmarked trails she turns to. Grass started to appear in sight as the cold air got lower heading into the Tropic areas. She slowed down and looked around to scout the area of anything that seemed like a great spot to camp for awhile until they found the time to make or find shelter. Stopping into a nice open part where a few trees shade, she gets out of the Jeep and walks around after not speaking the entire time they trailed for a place.*

Alena: Yeah, yeah.

*She says to herself in a whisper.*

Alena: We camp here for now.

*She says as her arms are crossed, walking back to the Jeep for her things.*

*Jumps out of the jeep looking around grabbing his duffel setting it on the ground

Marcus: Ill go get wood for the fire to ward off Tropics for tonight and tomorrow ill make a log shack

*he says with a slight sigh and sadness keeping it in his voice

*Unzips her bag to unpack her camping gear for set up. She begins to set up feeling the chill air flow through the trees as the wind picks up. Shivering lightly as she set down the tent spikes and sticks, she rubs her arms watching her breath flow in front of her. She stood and grabbed her coat out of the duffel bag and sat on the cold ground staring at the barely started tent; awaiting for Marcus to come back with the wood.*

*hums to himself coming back with wood and dry fire starter

Marcus: i'm back Alena with wood and some fruit

* he sets the wood in a pile and places some apples on the ground and begins starting the fire

Alena: Finally; I am freezing.

*She huddles in her coat shivering tremendously as she watched the sun set from afar over the horizon. Watches Marcus attempt to start a fire, she gets up and tries to assemble the tent.*

Alena: I think winter is almost here. The wind is so harsh.

*shivers aswell finally starting the fire then goes to Alena helping her with the tent

Marcus: Alena ill handle this your freezing go huddle at the fire

*Drops the tents spikes and rushes to the fire for warmth, blowing at her exposed hands to keep them circulated. She looks back up at the sun which was nowhere in sight, as the darkness falls quickly. Looking back down at the ground, she sees the dewy grass freeze. It was weird watching the land become frozen so quickly. Sitting on a log, kicking at the cold surface trying to chip at the dirt; looking back up at Marcus, almost done the assembled tent as she continued to shiver by the fire.*

*Finished the tent and makeing the bed inside with the blankets he took making about 15 inches of warm blankets

Marcus: its all done Alena

*sat down beside her putting his coat over her keeping her warm

*He stood on a higher level, continuing to watch them as he chuckles, the noise reaching the two, he silently moves closer, a slight grin on his face.*



Bekilip: This is quite interesting to see, i hope it picks up again...


*He crouches down, watching them as he holds his blade tight.*

*She rejects Marcus' jacket and concerning tells him.*

Alena: Marcus! Its 20 below out here, put that back on before you freeze to death.

*She stands and walks towards the tent and goes inside, jumping into one of the beds, clutching the warm blankets over her as she continues to wear her coat. Clattering her teeth as she closed her eyes, shedding a tear without a sound of a cry. She was afraid of death.*

*sighs staying by the fire looking down at the ground

Marcus in a low voice: I'm sorry i was just trying to help

*looked up watching her not going but staying outside to protect her from the tropics if they come
